0 The Bomber, a BMW R80-7 by Left Hand Cycles

Hands up, or I'll pull out my gun! When the darkness comes and the air is dark, it is dangerous on the road. Look crackle and anxious! Look, look here comes ...... The Bomber! lefthandcycles.blogspot.nl

Here's the story...
We were contacted a couple of month ago by Frank.
His question was if we could built a classy scrambler with a wild touch !
Frank  prefered a BMW and after searching a while ,we found a 1978  R80-7  in good condition.
Of course we were challanged, because nowaday's you see many variants of beemers and we know they are very popular.

Our client had a few wishes but gave us  "carte blanche' to start the project.
The engine was luckily in good condition, we only had to replace the clutch plates.
Frame parts were powdercoated and tank-fenders were painted matt black to create a used look .
We kept the wheels original but  tyres were replaced by Dunlop Trailmax to get a better grip  and ofcourse the good looks !

To get a fine scrambler you need a wide handlebar and we chose  a BSA (USA) one and wrapped it with black tape.
To create good harmony with our beemer we made a seat in a red wine colourscheme and we think it fits perfect !
Last but not least, the mufflers are megaton and they give the bike (you gonna love it..) a brutal sound !!
